Riverkids works to keep children with their families as much as possible, but sometimes home isn’t safe for them or their family are in an emergency crisis.The children board overnight from Monday to Friday at Riverkids with housemothers caring for them. Weekly boarding means the children stay with their friends in their own community and can return home on weekends to their own families or a foster family. Children stay for a few days to several months, depending on their family’s need.
Your gift will cover meals, board, and care for these vulnerable children. Riverkids provides weekly boarding for around twenty children on average each month.
Every donation gift includes a letter explains Riverkids and the impact of the program, and a thank-you photograph of our kids! You can have the letter emailed as a PDF or we can print it and mail it from Singapore. We'll email you after your order to check who you'd like the donation for.
