One of the first gifts a newborn in Cambodia is given is a bracelet or anklet with either a tiny bell on it, or lotus bud-tipped ends. As the baby grows, the bracelets are widened, then replaced with bigger ones, but the very first is always the most special.

These little bracelets are only 1.8” in diameter, with the wire twisted so they can be widened as much as 2.5” in diameter. Tiny flowers are engraved on the side, and the bells gently chime with every movement.
