The Independence Monument in silver earrings

Built in the 1950s, the Independence Monument reinterprets traditional temple architecture and materials in the New Khmer style.

The architect, Vann Molyvann, created much of Phnom Penh’s iconic buildings, but the Independence Monument is a landmark. At night, lights come on with people meeting nearby.

These intricately detailed earrings are an inch long, with 0.75” long hoops.
